Kate, as part of her volunteer work for the PFS Power Panel joined two of her colleagues to record podcasts for the PFS to show practicing and new financial planners the soft skills side to the profession and share insights and support fellow advisers where possible. Kate on Radio 4’s Money Box
Kate Gannon was invited to join Felicity Hannah on BBC Radio 4’s Money Box live to talk about the PFS Forces Money Plan, to which she has been a volunteer for since its inception in 2017. The broadcast went out live on 29th July and is available on BBC Sounds.

On the 21st July, our Director Kate had the pleasure of recording with FT Adviser alongside Simoney Kyriakou from FT Adviser and Simon Harrington from PIMFA discussing the future of the profession, Brexit and the challenges it has posed in financial planning and the challenges ahead. Kate Gannon Shortlisted in the Women in Financial Advice Awards 2026
Kate Gannon, our Director and Chartered Financial Planner, has been shortlisted out of more than 3,000 nominated amazing ladies and is potentially up for an award in two categories: Financial Planner of the Year South West and Outstanding Contribution to the Profession.
These nominations recognise Kate’s unwavering commitment to the profession and the positive impact she continues to have on clients, colleagues and the high standards she brings to everything she does.

Celebrating the Anniversary of the Personal Finance Society’s Pathway to the Profession
One year ago, The Personal Finance Society launched Pathway to the Profession with a simple ambition, to open the doors for young people and career changers who may have never considered a career in financial planning.
Our Director, Kate Gannon, who is currently serving on the Board of the PFS and is its Vice President was at the anniversary event in London on 14th July to celebrate its success and its future aims and goals, with colleagues and people who are benefitting from the £1m investment into this scheme.
